And there came a day, a day unlike any other, when Earth’s mightiest heroes and heroines found themselves united against a common threat. On that day, the Avengers were born—to fight the foes no single super hero could withstand!

As none of you know, I applied for a cadetship. Accounting was never my passion but I decided to give it a go anyway because my friend convinced me to.
She ended up making it in. I didn’t.
She was ranked number 2 overall in our school so I expected her to get it. It feels kind of weird though because she was always pursuing law up until I convinced her to take in interest in commerce instead. I was always going for that commerce degree…I love my friend and I’m happy for her but it just seems weird. They probably based everything on the grades people got. That would explain it. What else could?
That feeling of not being chosen kills me. Every time. It brings back memories of not being chosen to be a prefect, not being chosen for opportunity class and of course not being chosen for selective school.
So much of my life has been spent studying. If I don’t get chosen for my academics..I have nothing left.
What’s going to happen when I don’t get chosen for university? What happens then? That’s the end of it. I’m not good enough for anything.
